All enquires re Livestock Sales should be directed to WAMIA.
Note that livestock deliveries to the MLC prior to 06:00 on the day prior to sale must be specifically booked into the MLC via an emailed booking request, no less than 24 hours prior to delivery. Failure to email a booking request on time and comply with pen allocations as directed by WAMIA is an offence under the WAMIA Regulations (1985).

Booking requests are to include as a minimum:
- Stock Owner
- Stock Transporter
- Stock Agent
- Estimated Time of Arrival
- Total Stock to be delivered
- Head number and description of each line
- Sex
- Size
- Breed
WAMIA will provide pen allocations for the yarding of livestock via return email.
Private Weighing
The services provided by WAMIA are not just restricted to sale stock, using the MLC facilities and trained staff WAMIA can offer the following services for any livestock.

Cattle Transhipment – Board and Loadings for Cattle on the Move
In close vicinity is the 9 way pastoral draft with liveweight scales plus 2 x 4 way standard drafts with liveweight scales. On these scales cattle are weighed individually at speeds up to 240head /hour/ scale (average 200 head/hour – in contrast to Midland bulk weighing at 180 head for group weighing).
The flooring is a unique sawdust, which provides soft comfortable bedding for the cattle – making them less stressed.
Water is available in every pen. A hospital pen is easily accessed.
The Scales and Transhipment Area are available for PRIVATE SALES.
The Transhipment Area is an AQIS ACCREDITED LIVE EXPORT DEPOT.
The Centre is available for PRIVATE SALES, TRANSHIPMENT AND EXPORT DEPOTING OF LIVE EXPORT CATTLE.

Manure Sales
Loading days are Wednesday to Friday 07:00 to 13:00.
No loading is carried out on weekends.
A delivery service for loads of 5 cubic metres is available. Please call for a quote.

Truckwash
The Avdata system uses a micro chip key that can be used Australia wide. Avdata keys are available from the WAMIA Admin Office at the MLC. All trucks using the Avdata wash are required to supply their own hose. The coin operated truck wash operates with $1 coins for smaller trucks. Hoses are supplied for this wash.
Wash usage is charged on a per minute basis with current charge rate for the Avdata wash at 68c per minute. Using the coin wash, $1 will provide a wash for just under 1 minute. The Truckwash is only available for use by Livestock Vehicles. All enquires re the operation of the Truckwash or purchase of Avdata keys should be directed to WAMIA.
